Course Description:

This course will explore the foundation of religious education through the major movements, principles and peiople who influenced today's approaches to catechesis.  Students will investigate historical forms of religious education that continue to re-surface and re-invent themselves as we envangelize today.  The task of this course is to discover the reasons "we do what we do" and to recognize the foundational principles for judging the effectiveness of catechetical movements today.
